- Execute accurate and timely end-to-end payroll processing for multiple clients, including tasks such as handling new hires and terminations
- Manage the auto-enrolment process for pensions, handling both opt-ins and opt-outs across various pension schemes.
- Communicate with clients to collect necessary data for payroll preparation
- Ensure all payrolls are processed within the specified turnaround times.
- Address and resolve payroll queries from clients.
- Ensure all starters, leavers, benefits and allowances information is entered on to the Payroll database and update the relevant spreadsheet to record all entries made
- Recognize the importance of Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and adhere to responsibilities within the Payroll Services Department.
- Remain up to date with UK payroll legislation and compliance requirements, ensuring all processes adhere to the relevant regulations.
- Previous experience of working in a similar role.
- Extensive knowledge of UK payroll and pension legislation.
- A strong work ethic and willingness to assist other members of the team when required.
- Demonstrated ability to take ownership of tasks and ensure high-quality completion.
- Good interpersonal, communication and organisational skills.
- Have a knowledge of changes to legislation which effect payroll.
- Confident and competent in dealing with clients.
- Have a working knowledge of MS Office.
- Good time keeping/punctuality.
