Exciting Opportunity for a Qualified Art Teacher in Wokingham!

GSL Education are currently seeking a number of passionate and dedicated Art Teachers to join our client schools in Wokingham. This is a fantastic opportunity to inspire students and nurture their creative talents in the fields of art.

As a Art Teacher, your responsibilities will include:

• Planning and delivering high-quality art and photography lessons that align with the national curriculum.
• Inspiring students to explore various art forms, techniques, and photography styles.
• Fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages creative expression and experimentation.
• Assessing student progress, providing constructive feedback, and supporting their development.
• Collaborating with colleagues to enhance the art and photography curriculum and extracurricular activities.
• Preparing students for exhibitions and showcasing their artistic and photographic talents.

Qualifications and Attributes:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialization in Art.
• A strong understanding of the art curriculum and effective teaching methodologies.
• Passion for art and photography and the ability to inspire and engage students in meaningful creative projects.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering positive relationships with students and colleagues.
• Strong classroom management skills, creating an environment conducive to artistic and photographic exploration.
• Dedication to ongoing professional development and staying updated with advancements in art and photography education.

You must be in possession of an enhanced child only DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one through GSL Education.
