We are looking for a dedicated Maths Tutor to support students who are school refusers or those who are struggling academically. This role is ideal for a compassionate educator with a strong background in mathematics, eager to make a significant difference in students' educational experiences.
Day-to-day of the role:- Design and implement engaging maths lessons tailored to the needs of each student.
- Assess individual learning needs and adapt teaching strategies to enhance student understanding and success.
- Foster a positive and supportive learning environment to encourage student engagement and confidence.
- Collaborate with educational staff to develop integrated strategies that support student learning and well-being.
- Monitor and report on student progress, adapting approaches as needed to help each student achieve their potential.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
- Proven experience in teaching or tutoring Maths, particularly to students who find traditional learning environments challenging.
- Excellent ability to communicate complex mathematical concepts in a clear and engaging manner.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and inspire students.
- A patient and resilient approach, committed to impacting students' academic and personal growth.
