Day-to-day of the role:- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging PE lessons that promote physical health and teamwork.
- Encourage and monitor the progress of individual students and use information to adjust teaching strategies.
- Manage student behaviour in the classroom and on school premises, and apply appropriate and effective measures in cases of misbehaviour.
- Participate in departmental meetings, parent meetings, and whole school training events.
- Foster a positive learning environment and motivate students to achieve their full potential in various sports and physical activities.
- Assess students' skills, performance, and development and provide timely feedback to students and parents.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification.
- Proven experience as a PE Teacher or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of physical education curriculum and the ability to implement it effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to inspire and enthuse young people.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Commitment to professional development and maintaining current knowledge in the field.
