Butler Rose Public Practice is pleased to be supporting our client, a Top 10 firm, in their search for an experienced and highly motivated Audit Director. This role offers the potential to progress towards partnership and establish yourself as a leader in your specialised field within a rapidly growing company.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Lead audits for large, technically complex clients.
  • Analyse complex business situations to identify key issues and priorities.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, offering both business and personal guidance to managers.
  • Oversee all client engagements, ensuring high-level service delivery.
  • Take responsibility for allocating work across teams.
  • Manage a portfolio of clients, ensuring timely and accurate service.
  • Maintain top-tier client service at all times.
  • Manage the end-to-end audit process, including budgets and timescales.
  • Assist on ad hoc projects as required.

Candidate Requirements:

  • ACA/ACCA/CA qualified or equivalent.
  • Excellent working knowledge of IFRS/UKGAAP.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
  • Experience within accountancy practice, with the ability to work across a variety of industries.
  • Proven experience managing a large and diverse client portfolio.
  • Experience in training and mentoring team members.
