An established manufacturing organisation in Wolverhampton has recently approached Mitchell Adam for assistance with their search for a talented Immediately Available Management Accountant. The organisation is easily accessible due to their free on-site car park. As a Management Accountant, you will get the opportunity to work closely with the Financial Controller who will help provide some fantastic insight and advice during your time within the organisation. The organisation are seeking someone who is immediately available as this is a fixed term contracted position.
In this role, you will be able to take control of the production of management packs for senior management, alongside gaining business partner responsibilities where you'll be working closely with project managers, being involved with financial meetings discussing budgets and forecasts and providing detailed insight on variances. You will be working closely with the Financial Controller who will be on hand to assist with your development and help provide support on your responsibilities whenever necessary.
Skills Required- To be either currently studying your ACCA or CIMA Qualifications, or to consider yourself "Qualified by Experience"
- To have experience with a variety of month end processes, including producing the monthly management account packs for senior management. Any experience with budgeting and forecasting will be admired but not essential.
- To be confident and charismatic, this role will see you interact with a variety of individuals from different levels of seniority. It is important to be able to communicate in an effective manner.
- As this role is an Immediately Available Management Accountant, it is essential that you are either immediately available, or at most on a reduced notice period such as one week.
