Our client is seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to support their finance team. This role is a temporary position with a possible permanent opportunity after a successful probation. You must be able to start this role within the next week.

  • Accounts Payable : Process supplier invoices, match purchase orders and ensure timely payment
  • Accounts Receivable : Generate customer invoices, manage collections and maintain accurate records · Bank reconciliations : Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy
  • Data Entry: Accurately enter financial data into the accounting system. · Expense Management : Review and process employee expense claims in accordance with company policies
  • Financial Reporting : Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports and statements
  • General Ledger : Support the maintenance of the general ledger, ensuring all transactions are recorded correctly.
  • Administrative Support : Provide administrative assistance to the finance team as needed, including filing and document management
  • Compliance : Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant financial regulations
  • Ad Hoc Duties : Assist with various ad hoc financial projects and tasks as required
