Sonic Summary

This role requires a hands-on individual with solid skills in accounts, including accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and trial balance production.
The successful candidate will assist with year-end processes, cash book management, and month-end duties like journals and accruals.
The position reports directly to the Financial Controller, offering opportunities to develop skills in management accounts.
Training and support will be provided for enthusiastic candidates eager to grow in their roles.
A salary range and a minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting are typically expected for this position.

This role offers a range of responsibilities. It will suit a hands on individual with a solid base of skills in accounts, specifically:

- all elements of accounts payable and receivable

- reconciliation of bank accounts & supplier statements

- producing accounts to trial balance

- assisting with year end, including audit queries

- cash book & petty cash management

- assisting with month end duties, including journals, accruals and P&L codings

The successful candidate will report directly into the Financial Controller, and can develop their skills management accounts as they progress into the role. Training and support is on offer for those who have the enthusiasm to develop.
