Business Development Manager - Service Solution Sell

You need to be commutable to the office in Birmingham. Your sales region covers the Midlands ideally you would be situated in or Birmingham, Dudley, Wolverhampton, Coventry, Leicester and other surrounding areas.

£32,000 to £35,000 plus commission, bonus, benefits and 25 days hols plus statutory. Flexible vehicle solutions. Company car or car allowance.

Our client will support and nurture you on your journey in building a career with them, they focus their services on security solutions for vacant properties, these being both commercial and residential properties and land ranging from offices, private dwellings, land, industrial units, construction sites, vacant pubs, and retail shops to name a few. Solutions range from utilising property guardians to security technology solutions. They are the best at what they do in the UK and are looking to expand their team.

The Role

This is a business development role whereby you will develop a pipeline of new contacts in your area, these being landlords, property agents, asset and estate managers for public sector property such as councils, local authorities, NHS estates. You will be accustomed to being a self-starter and inquisitive business developer. This said, the business does have an array of previous clients on their CRM that can be recontacted, leads from dormant data and previous tenders and pitches. The role is seen as 80% business development and 20% account management.

The Applicant

We are looking for an enthusiastic and positive Business Development Manager that is used to selling into facilities management or property or security solutions, or other solutions to the construction sector, or you might be dealing with estate managers or property agents. Alternatively, if you sell a service and solution that is tailored to client needs more or less on a unique basis in every sales process and you think you have the desired attributes, then please get in touch. You may have experience in serviced offices, advertising, soft facility management solutions, removal and storage solutions to name but a few.
