We are looking for a Sales Executive to join our friendly team and business. We are looking for someone who has a sales background preferably in technical sales / B2B / construction industry. You will be responsible for lead generation, phone calls, meetings, updating the CRM system throughout the sales process and driving revenue to the wonderful business through good, solid relationships. A sales person who has great organisation and is a team player, would be ideal. Hospitality and team events might be on the cards too, such as great sporting events!

Responsibilities

  • Sell products and services relevant to industries such as construction
  • Promote and sell company's products / solutions to local councils, large house builders and other companies.
  • Create new business sales leads within your assigned UK targets via outbound sales calls to new, existing, and lapsed clients
  • Work with existing clients to provide effective account management and cross-sell up-sell opportunities
  • Effectively record all activity and provide accurate weekly reporting of the client pipeline and progressive outcomes
  • Conduct thorough market research to identify potential leads
  • Use various methods (cold calling, email campaigns, social media, etc.) to reach out to prospective clients
  • Build and maintain a database of prospective client information
  • Use qualifying criteria to assess the suitability of prospects and assign them to the appropriate department/person
  • Collaborate with marketing to create and improve lead-generation campaigns
  • Provide feedback and suggestions to improve lead-generation processes and strategies
  • Achieve personal and company targets
  • Update company CRM throughout sales process
  • Attend sales and product training sessions and courses as required

The ideal person

  • Highly motivated, positive, enthusiastic and results-focused
  • Strong telesales & lead generation experience ideally gained within the construction environment
  • Exceptional all-round communication skills and well-versed at dealing with clients
  • Previous experience in B2B sales utilizing CRM software and sales pipeline management tools
  • A collaborative and consultative approach coupled with the ability to work autonomously to deliver results
  • Experience of Hubspot CRM (or equivalent) and the ability to deliver accurate, clear, and concise forecasting and reporting
