Key responsibilities

In this?Employability job, your responsibilities will include:

  • Planning, creating and delivering engaging Employability programmes including Functional Skills
  • Providing advice and guidance to learners to overcome barriers to secure employment
  • Develop relationships with key stakeholders to ensure successful outcomes
  • Working with the quality team to ensure standards are maintained.

Skills & experience

  • Experience in teaching learners with special educational needs
  • Demonstrate a successful track record in delivering Employability programmes or Functional Skills
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service.
  • PGCE or other comparitive teaching qualifications.
  • Degree in a relevant subject area or appropriate professional qualification?
  • Familiarity with the national curriculum of England (Plus IGCSE/GCSE and/or A Levels as appropriate)?
  • Passion for teaching and commitment to educating a child?
  • A high level of professionalism and consideration of the well-being of children?
  • Respect for all members of a school community, irrespective of position, gender, age and ethnic background?
  • A positive and solution-focused attitude to working life?
