HCR is recruiting a Deputy Ward Manager for a creative private healthcare mental health service the innovative company are specialist in Eating Disorders, CAMHS, Acute Elderly Dementia, Specialist Education, and Supported living. We require a Deputy Ward manager to join a high-performing high-tech innovational CAMHS and Eating Disorder hospital.

Deputy Ward Manager Duties:

  • Provide clinical leadership to the day-to-day management of the nursing team by prioritising and monitoring the workload ensuring duties are delegated safely and effectively.
  • The Deputy Ward manager will provide expertise and guidance on delivering nursing care.
  • The Deputy Ward Manager will support recruitment and staff retention
  • Ensure safe staffing levels across the service are met.
  • The Deputy Ward Manager will ensure all regulatory standards are being adhered to.
  • The deputy ward manager will motivate and lead the team to work towards outstanding nursing care levels.

Deputy Ward Manager Requirements:

  • To already be working in a leadership and management role
  • RMN or RNLD-qualified 
  • Ideally to have a level 4 qualification or higher in leadership and management
  • Ideally have experience in CAMHS or Eating Disorders
  • To be an effective communicator
