What you will be doing as a Maintenance Engineer:

  • General maintenance and breakdown support.
  • Carry out fault finding activities and undertake timely repair of equipment in the following areas; Robotics, PLC’s, Electrical Control Systems, Hydraulics and Pneumatics and mechanical systems.
  • Undertake planned preventative maintenance activities.
  • Extensive liaison with supervisors/managers on shift.
  • Ensure strict adherence to safe working practices and observe safety rules at all times.
  • Timely response to equipment stoppages.

What you’ll need to succeed as a Maintenance Engineer:

  • Previous experience as a multi-skilled maintenance engineer is ESSENTIAL.
  • An ELECTRICAL bias is ESSENTIAL.
  • Experience with pneumatic & hydraulic systems is essential.
  • A recognised engineering qualification is essential.
  • You will be required to do a 3 shift rotation.
  • You will be happy working in a large facility and be able to prioritise your workload.
  • Experience with PLC’s and HMI’s is beneficial.
