Role ResponsibilitiesIn this position, you’ll:
- Offer expert guidance on employment tax matters, including PAYE, NIC, employee benefits, and expenses
- Support clients with compliance, covering IR35, off-payroll working, and HMRC audits or enquiries
- Advise on tax-efficient salary sacrifice schemes, termination payments, and planning strategies
- Build and maintain strong relationships with a varied client portfolio, becoming a trusted advisor
- Conduct compliance reviews and audits, ensuring alignment with employment tax legislation
- Collaborate with internal departments to provide comprehensive client solutions
- Contribute to the development of the employment tax offering through business development initiatives
- Support and mentor junior team members, helping them grow their technical skills

Candidate Requirements- CTA, ACA/ACCA qualification or equivalent, with a strong background in employment tax
- Comprehensive knowledge of PAYE, NIC, IR35, and employee benefits legislation
- Proven ability to manage client relationships and deliver tailored advice
- Confident in managing HMRC queries and handling complex tax matters
- Commercial awareness and the ability to identify growth opportunities for clients
- Strong project management and organisational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- £50,000 to £70,000 per annum
- Full-time, permanent role
