Description

This is a broad and influential Finance Director position, reporting directly to the UK Managing Director and working closely with Group. Leading a capable and engaged finance function, you will take full ownership of the UK entity's financial management, control, and reporting. Beyond this, your remit will extend into commercial decision-making, business partnering, and value creation-particularly around customer-level profitability, pricing strategy, and margin enhancement.

Key priorities will include:

  • Delivering high-quality, timely financial reporting and analysis in line with group standards

  • Providing critical insight into performance drivers across operations, commercial and supply chain

  • Leading cash flow management, forecasting, and working capital optimisation

  • Enhancing commercial visibility through robust customer and contract-level profitability analysis

  • Driving process improvement and leveraging data and systems for greater financial insight

  • Developing a high-performing, empowered finance team through coaching and leadership

Profile

We're seeking an experienced, qualified finance leader (ACA, ACCA, ACMA or equivalent), ideally with a strong track record in manufacturing or industrial environments. You will bring depth in financial control and reporting, but also demonstrate the commercial edge required to influence business decisions and partner cross-functionally.

Success in this role will require a blend of strategic acumen, operational understanding, and hands-on leadership. You should be confident engaging at all levels, agile in your thinking, and comfortable working within a fast-paced, performance-led culture.
