Our client, a well-established manufacturing business based in Wolverhampton, is seeking an experienced Finance Director to lead the finance function, drive business performance, and support strategic decision-making. This is a key leadership role with the opportunity to make a significant impact in a dynamic and growing business.

Key responsibilities of the Finance Director:

Lead and manage the finance team, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting

Support the senior leadership team with strategic financial planning

Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management

Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and company policies

Drive process improvements and financial controls

Provide commercial insight to support growth and profitability

Liaise with external stakeholders including auditors, banks, and HMRC
Key essentials of the Finance Director:

Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA)

Proven experience in a senior finance role, ideally in manufacturing

Strong leadership and communication skills

Commercially minded with a hands-on approach
