EHO/Food Safety Inspector

Sharper Consulting Services is recruiting Environmental Health Officers/Food Safety Professionals to undertake food hygiene and standards inspections on behalf of our local authority client in the West Midlands.

Premises to be inspected is circa 150 risk rated categories A-E + New Businesses and thework is on a paid per-inspection basis

Rate circa 60+ (dependent on risk rating)

Experience and Qualifications:

• Demonstrate substantial experience in conducting food inspections on behalf of a local authority.
• Maintain a fully up-to-date competency matrix and engage in continuous professional development (CPD) to stay abreast of the latest developments in food safety regulations and practices.
• Hold either a BSc/MSc in Environmental Health or possess a Higher Certificate in Food Control.
• Proven experience in the field of environmental health, specifically in food safety inspections.
• Thorough understanding of relevant legislation and regulations governing food safety.
