Poolhall Recruitment are partnering with an established and well respected Sporting Club within the city of Wolverhampton. They outsource their kitchen management to a franchisor and are looking for an established catering professional to run the food delivery section of the club.

As the in house Caterer, you will be responsible for sourcing, preparing and serving food at various events and functions.

Your attention to detail, culinary expertise, and exceptional customer service skills will contribute to the success of our catering operations. This is the full job of sourcing food and delivering to the programme of events throughout the year.

The amount of profit in this deal is down to you, so business experience is essential to be successful in the role. With almost 100k worth of turnover in the facility the opportunity is there to make good earnings and maximise return.

Duties:
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes for events, including appetizers, main courses, desserts, and beverages
- Set up food stations and buffet tables with aesthetically pleasing displays
- Ensure all food is prepared and presented in accordance with food safety standards
- Coordinate with event planners and clients to determine menu selections and dietary restrictions
- Provide excellent customer service by promptly addressing any guest inquiries or concerns
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the catering area before, during, and after events.

Requirements:
- Previous experience in a restaurant or catering environment is essential
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques, culinary trends, and menu planning
- Strong attention to detail to ensure high-quality food presentation
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills to interact with clients, guests, and team members
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and procedures
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
