What you'll do:

As a Production and Logistics Planner, you will be at the heart of our client's operations. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that customer orders are completed efficiently and delivered on time. You will develop production schedules that optimise resources while ensuring efficient use of equipment and manpower. Your excellent organisational skills will enable you to coordinate with various teams effectively. You will also monitor production data closely, providing regular reports on performance. In addition to these responsibilities, you will provide daily leadership to a small logistics team, fostering a positive work environment.

  • Develop and maintain production schedules that optimise resources and ensure efficient use of equipment and manpower.
  • Coordinate with sales and logistic teams to prioritise customer orders.
  • Monitor production capacity and adjust the schedule based on resource availability.
  • Plan and manage all logistics operations, including dispatch and delivery of finished goods.
  • Act as the point of contact for Sales and Customers regarding delivery times, production updates, and logistical challenges.
  • Monitor and track production data, providing regular reports on performance.
  • Provide daily leadership to a small logistics team.
  • Continually assess production and logistics processes to identify areas for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety standards, environmental regulations, and industry best practices.
