Demand Planner – Manufacturing
Cannock – 3 days in office, 2 WFH
£28-32k per annum
Hours: 8.30am till 5pm – flex around start/finish times
Do you have strong analytical skills and the ability to use MS Excel? Are you experienced in planning, supply chain and inventory management?
I’m supporting a manufacturing business based in Cannock to recruit a Demand/Supply Planner. You’d be joining an industry-leading business at a time where they’re ramping up on investment, so it’s an exciting time in the company’s history.
You’ll be based out of their Cannock office – 3 days typically spent onsite, the other 2 WFH.
Day to day you’ll be involved in:
- Developing and implementing S&OP strategies.
- Review and analyse sales demand to better understand opportunities and trends in the market.
- Manage availability and lead times to improve OTIF performance.
- Improving the ERP system to increase forecast accuracy.
- Create reports and make recommendations based on analysis and data extraction.
- Liaise and communicate with various departments internally, including sales and operations.
You’ll need to be/have:
- Strong analytical skills and confidence using MS Excel
- Experience in a planning/supply chain function
- Understanding of ERP systems
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills
- A continuous improvement mindset with a data/evidence-based approach
