The post is initially a temporary position but on-going.As a teacher you will be involved in the marking and planning of lessons. You will need to be resilient, empathetic, patient and passionate, being able to think outside of the box and have the ability to change your teaching methods to suit individual needs is critical.The school caters for students who cannot access mainstream education, many of the students have either Autism, Aspergers or SEMH needs. Strong behaviour management is essential and you must have the patients to deal with challenging behaviour at times. The successful teacher will be driven and motivated and will genuinely want to make a difference.
