Hours: 42.5 hours a week
Extras: Overtime paid time & 1/3 in week, Time 1/2 at weekend, 28 Days holiday, flexible hours
Job Description:
Our client is a leading provider of commercial vehicle repair services, known for delivering high-quality workmanship and excellent customer service. Our team is passionate about vehicle restoration, working on everything from minor dents to major body repairs on commercial fleets. We are currently seeking a skilled Commercial Panel Beater / Panel Beater / Panel Technician / Commercial Vehicle Repairer to join our dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities of Panel Beater / Panel Technician / Commercial Vehicle Repairer:
- Assess and repair damaged commercial vehicle panels, including trucks, vans, and buses.
- Perform panel beating, metal shaping, and welding tasks to restore vehicles to pre-accident condition.
- Remove and refit panels, body parts, and chassis components.
- Use tools and equipment to reshape, repair, or replace damaged sections of the vehicle body.
- Ensure that work is completed to the highest standards and in line with company and industry specifications.
- Work with other team members, such as spray painters and mechanics, to deliver top-quality repairs.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Accurately document repair processes and ensure timely completion of jobs.
Requirements for Panel Beater / Panel Technician / Commercial Vehicle Repairer:
- Proven experience as a Panel Beater / Panel Technician / Commercial Vehicle Repairer, preferably within a commercial vehicle environment.
- Familiarity with welding, panel beating, and vehicle repair techniques.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Relevant certification in panel beating or vehicle body repair (preferred but not essential).
