Day-to-day of the role:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver instructional activities that facilitate active learning experiences for UAL Level 2 and 3 students.
  • Develop schemes of work and lesson plans in line with curriculum objectives.
  • Use a variety of assessment tools and approaches to measure student learning, provide feedback, and support academic progression.
  • Maintain discipline in accordance with the rules and disciplinary systems of the institution.
  • Participate in departmental and school meetings, parent meetings, and contribute to curriculum development.
  • Update all necessary records accurately and completely as required by laws, district policies, and school regulations.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • A degree in Media Studies, Creative Media, or a related field.
  • Relevant teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, Cert Ed).
  • Experience teaching UAL Level 2 and 3 courses or similar qualifications.
  • Strong knowledge of the subject area combined with a broad subject background enabling contributions to teaching programmes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Good organisational and time-management skills.
  • Energy, enthusiasm, and a passion for teaching.
