Location:
This permanent position is based in the West Midlands with easy commutable areas including Birmingham, Wolverhampton, Shrewsbury, Telford, Stafford, Walsall, Codsall, Bridgnorth, Market Drayton, Cannock and surrounding areas - West Midlands.

The Role:

Joining this market leading manufacturing organisation with facilities across the UK and Europe, you will play a vital role within the business planning and strategy division. Ultimately reporting to the group senior management team, you will have responsibilities for all of (but not limited to) the below.

1. Business Performance Analysis - highlighting strengths and weaknesses
2. Strategy Design, Development & Implementation - commercial and financial focus
3. Business Achievement Monitoring - intervening, improving and analysis
4. Risk & Under-Achievement Actioning - business improvement specialist
5. New Product & Business Line Integration - delivery, analysis, improvement and objective hitting
6. Business & Financial Plan Delivery - negotiations, planning and stakeholder consideration
7. Opportunity & Threat Analysis - real time, data driven business performance analysis
8. Competitor & Market Analysis - systematic reporting of "company performance vs objectives"
9. Total Stakeholder Relationship Management - negotiate, advise and relationship management
10. Business Growth & Development - devise, analyse, implement, report and objective setting

Candidate Requirements:
You will be a degree level minimum graduate in business, business management, international business, business strategy, financial management or similar commercially driven field.

Living locally in the West Midlands, you will have superb commercial acumen, excellent negotiation skills and an impressive initiative to identify, understand and implement business strategy.

Your communication skills at all levels of business and stakeholder groups will be superb along with a proven ability to manage sometimes sensitive information, stakeholder relationships and business decisions.

The perfect candidate will exist in a post-graduate with 3 - 6 years industry experience in a similar strategy, business planning or commercial improvements role.
