Are you a results-oriented professional with a strong understanding of the automotive industry?We're seeking a talented Underwriter to join our dynamic team in Warrington. In this key role, you'll be responsible for assessing creditworthiness, pricing loans, and ensuring compliance within our car finance business.Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate potential customers' financial information to determine their creditworthiness.
  • Calculate appropriate interest rates and loan terms based on risk assessment.
  • Create and issue loan agreements and other necessary documentation.
  • Implement measures to prevent fraudulent loan applications.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including the Consumer Credit Act.
  • Build and maintain relationships with dealers and brokers.
  • Analyze underwriting data to identify trends and improve processes.
