Logistics Manager - Global Tier 1 Automotive Supplier Location: Wolverhampton Are you an experienced Logistics Manager looking to drive efficiency and operational excellence within a global Tier 1 automotive company? This is a fantastic opportunity to lead logistics operations, optimize supply chain processes, and ensure seamless customer service in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage logistics operations, ensuring timely material flow from suppliers to production and dispatch.
  • Develop annual budgets and drive cost reduction initiatives while maintaining efficiency.
  • Ensure adherence to customer requirements and quality standards, supporting audits and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee storage, order picking, packing, transport, and security of materials.
  • Work closely with industrial and continuous improvement teams to drive productivity enhancements.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards and lead process improvements.
  • Manage and develop the logistics team through performance reviews, coaching, and training plans.

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience in logistics, supply chain, or transportation management within the automotive or manufacturing sector.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills - able to engage and develop teams.
  • Proficiency in SAP, MRP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to analyze complex data and provide meaningful insights to enhance operations.
  • HND (Business, Commercial, Manufacturing, or Engineering) or equivalent experience.
  • IOSH Managing Safely (desirable).
