Vehicle Appraiser
Location: Wolverhampton
Working Hours: 42.5 Hours per week to include weekends
Salary:26,000 per annum
Contract Type: Permanent
Igloo is recruiting a Vehicle Appraiser on behalf of our client, a leading automotive company. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing part exchange vehicles, ensuring accurate pricing, and managing the auction disposal process.
Responsibilities:
- Assess vehicles, considering factors such as condition, mileage, history and other factors to determine accurate valuation.
- Communicate effectively with the sales team to explain appraisal results.
- Drive each of the potential part exchange vehicles to help identify mechanical issues.
- Select vehicles for resale or auction and manage the paperwork and logistics for those being sold at auction.
Ideal Candidate:
- Experience in vehicle appraisal or a similar role in the automotive sector.
- Strong communication skills to interact with the sales team.
- Attention to detail and the ability to prioritise tasks.
- Proficient in appraisal and auction platforms.
- Holds a full UK driving licence.
