The successful candidate for this marketing and content co-ordinator role will have knowledge of the digital marketing industry and be a good team player.

Main duties and tasks:

  • Create and deliver social media content in line with the social media strategy to build and expand our audience via social media channels including LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube and all relevant channels in the future.
  • Populate and manage the content calendar in line with the Chamber’s social media strategy.
  • Manage daily interactions and the management of general/member.
  • Create and deliver regular and ad-hoc email campaigns in line with brand guidelines and principles.
  • Use the Chamber’s Content Management System to upload and edit content (copy, images, videos etc.) across our website and search engine profiles.
  • Ensure the organisation keeps up to date with current trends and bring new ideas which enhance the organisation’s strategic output.
  • Responsible for general functions within the team including collating information and updating analytical reports, and attending events, along with administrative and other marketing support to assist with the efficient running of the department.
  • Ensure that all activities are delivered in line with the Chamber’s Health and Safety policies.
  • To carry out other duties commensurate with the role and role grade as required and directed from time to time.
  • Person specification:
  • Excellent attention to detail, combined with critical and creative thinking.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing including websites and social media.
  • Strong written and verbal skills.
  • A team player who values collaboration and team spirit.
  • Positive, proactive and solution orientated.
  • Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
