Overview of the role:

We are seeking an experienced Production Manager with Packaging experience who can oversee the effective operation of all the Production processes whilst maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality and performance. Overseeing 38 with more investment anticipated.

Key Responsibilities:

Production Management of 38 with the intention for this to grow across the site

To lead by example and develop employees

Be a champion of H&S whilst working closely with the Quality department to oversee quality control, compliance and to push product quality improvement

Drive continuous improvement initiatives utilising lean manufacturing techniques

Build, grow and sustain supplied and customer relationships

Work cooperatively with all sites such as Sales, Engineering, Logistics & more to ensure the best outcome

Act as primary point of contact for site related issues

Monitor and report on KPI's

Organise employees are continuously developed and trained

Requirements:

Proven experience as a manager in a manufacturing setting

Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and CI principles

Strong communication skills with the ability to have an impact at all levels

Ideally...

ILM Level 5 or equivalent

ISO familiarity, QMS experience, FSC familiarity

Experience with production scheduling and ERP software
