Job SummaryThis company are seeking an experienced Payroll officer to join their team on a temporary basis due to high workload within the business. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the payroll process, ensuring accurate and timely payment to employees while adhering to all relevant regulations and company policies. This role requires proficiency in payroll systems and accounting software, as well as strong analytical skills to manage data effectively. This is an immediate start role on a ongoing basis working in their office in Wolverhampton for two days a week and 3 days at home.Responsibilities
  • Process payroll for all employees accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
  • Maintain employee records, including personal information, tax details, and payment history.
  • Perform data entry tasks related to payroll, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Analyse payroll data to identify discrepancies or issues and resolve them promptly.
  • Generate payroll reports for management review and assist with audits as required.

Experience
  • Proven experience in a payroll or accounting role, ideally within a similar industry.
