Crane Engineer - Mobile

Randstad are currently recruiting for a Mobile Crane Engineer to come and work for a crane breakdown & maintenance company based in Wolverhampton (WV10 7BY).

This is a permanent position working Monday to Friday, 8am - 5pm paying a basic salary between 37,000 - 42,000 per annum dependent on experience.

Overtime is paid at 1.5x on weekdays & Saturdays and 2x on Sundays & after 10pm on weekdays.

The Role

The engineer will be responsible for conducting inspections, maintenance, and repairs on lifting equipment, cranes, and heavy machinery for clients across the UK. There will be a mixture of site-based and off-site work. Some remote work is acceptable.

The ideal candidate will have -

  • Some form of electrical engineering qualification and/or experience
  • Lifting Equipment, Cranes, and Heavy Equipment expertise
  • Experience in Inspection, Maintenance, and Repair of industrial equipment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of LOLER regulations
  • Certifications in crane operation and safety
