MTrec Technical are proudly representing our prestigious manufacturing client, based in Wolverhampton with their plans for growth and internal expansion. We are supporting their recruitment by recruiting a permanent Supervisor/team leader, to join their team. A successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the management of technicians within the business and will hold responsibility for the smooth running of the site day to day.

The role will be working a permanent day shift, 07:00-16:00 Monday to Thursday, and 07:00- 12:00 on Fridays.

The Job You’ll Do;

  • Manage and action all activities required of the onsite service
  • Supervise site staff.
  • Handling and distribution of lubricants.
  • Condition monitoring and control of fluids and plant equipment, and reporting using our company in-house system.
  • Day-to-day involvement in the lubrication programme of plant and equipment in accordance with the requirements of the maintenance schedule to develop an overall understanding of all activities provided to the customer.
  • Customer liaison including understanding requirements, attending meetings, and taking minutes when required.
  • Carrying out machine cleanouts and ordering of lubricants and oils.
  • Maintain lubrication surveys and internal database.
  • Using IT systems including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook etc.
  • Organise and supervise contractors to site.
  • Manage waste streams to safe disposal off-site.
  • Follow strictly practices and procedures laid down including 5s and Health & Safety.
  • Duties will cover both office and shop floor.
  • Train and supervisor others.

About You;

  • Experienced of working in a mechanical, chemical or production environment.
  • Possesses a willingness to be adaptable and flexible.
  • The ability to self-motivate and work with minimal supervision.
  • Previous experience within a similar position.
  • The ideal candidate should be suitably qualified.
