A fabulous opportunity has arisen for a Quality Manager to work for a company that provides a global source of specialized coatings to a range of different industries including Automotive, Aerospace and Wind Energy among others. The position offers a salary of 40,000 - 45,000 per annum, as well as company pension and ongoing training and support.
As the Quality Manager you will provide support and guidance in relation to management and assurance on site. Ensuring continuous site quality conformity in relation to product processes and that the site complies with the requirements of ISO9001/IATF16949 QMS, ISO14001 Environmental Management Systems, along with any customer specific requirements specified.
Responsibilities of the Quality Manager:
- Liaising with the Group Compliance Manager to ensure that localised QMS complies with requirements in relation to ISO9001/IATF16949/ISO14001 Management Systems and Customer Specific requirements.
- Completion of customer concern reports [QCR] with Team input.
- Execution of internal Process audits in accordance with ISO9001 and IATF16949
- The Quality Manager will manage the department. Maintaining HR files, new starter inductions & including training.
Support in Health & Safety:-
- Risk assessments writing / Updating
- Carry out HSE audits - manage actions to closure
- Supporting Compliance manager with the successful execution of compliance requirements, PAT testing, Legionella, lifting equipment etc.
- Managing APQP activities, including producing PPAP's when required.
- Managing/analysis of customer and internal rejects and report daily
Requirements:
- Experienced Quality Manager, preferably QHSE background, but will consider QM
- Strong working knowledge of Quality Management systems, with knowledge of ISO9001/ IATF16949.
- Preferably Automotive background
- Knowledge of metal finishing processes an advantage.
- Familiarisation of Core tool: FMEA, APQP, PPAP, MSA and SPC Ability to communicate well, with staff, Management Teams across the group when needed
Salary and Benefits Package:
- In return you will receive a salary circa to 40k to 45k
