We are working in partnership with a secondary school in Wolverhampton who are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Science Teacher to start ASAP until the end of the academic year. This is a full-time and long-term role for the term with the potential of going permanent. This school has a brilliant team ethos, exceptional SLT support and a welcoming nature. Your new role

  • Delivering engaging and creative Science lessons to students in Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Planning and preparing schemes of work, lesson plans, and assessments.
  • Monitoring student progress and providing feedback.
  • Contributing to the development of the department's curriculum.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. ECT's welcome to apply.
  • Recent experience teaching Science at secondary school level.
  • The ability to work collaboratively with other teachers and staff members.
  • DBS on the update service (or willing to pay for a new one).
  • References to cover the last 2 years of teaching.
