Our partners based in the Wolverhampton area are looking for support within their Marketing department, which has created a vacancy for a content co-ordinator.

This is a hybrid role, based on 35 hours per week Mon - Fri.

The successful candidatewill:

  • Create and deliver social media content in line with the social media strategy to build and expand theiraudience via social media channels including LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube and all relevant channels in the future.
  • Populate and manage the content calendar in line with the business's social media strategy
  • Manage daily interactions and the management of internal and external enquires.
  • Create and deliver regular and ad-hoc email campaigns in line with brand guidelines and principles.
  • Use the CompanyContent Management System to upload and edit content (copy, images, videos etc.) across our website and search engine profiles.
  • Ensure the organisation keeps up to date with current trends and bring new ideas which enhance the organisations strategic output.
  • Responsible for general functions within the team including collating information and updating analytical reports, and attending events, along with administrative and other marketing support to assist with the efficient running of the department.
  • Ensure that all activities are delivered in line with the CompanyHealth and Safety policies.
  • To carry out other duties commensurate with the role and role grade as required and directed from time to time.

Experience, Knowledge & skills required:

  • A degree and/or demonstrable understandingof the principles and practices of marketing, communications and events.
  • An understanding of how digitalcommunications and other marketing activities can be effectively used by a B2B organisation to excite, engage and influence multi-sector business audiences.
  • A working knowledge of marketing systems, tools and platforms, and how these are used within the context of content creation, delivery, and data analysis (including design software, email software, customer relationship management, video software, social media schedulers, social media platforms, websites, search engines and analytical tools)
  • An understanding of key digital channels andwhat audiences expect from them including tone of voice and receivership potential.
  • Experience of creating a range of distinct content for digital campaigns that increase engagement.
  • Recent experience of using a content management system to support uploading & managing of content.
  • Excellent attention to detail, combined with critical and creative thinking.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing including websites and social media.
  • Strong written and verbal skills.
  • A team player who values collaboration and team spirit.
  • Positive, proactive and solution orientated.
  • Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
