NXTGEN are working with a leading organisation in Woodbridge to recruit an experienced Interim Financial Controller. This is a fantastic opportunity to take on a pivotal role in managing multi-entity statutory accounts and driving the financial performance of a diverse group of businesses.

As Interim Financial Controller, you'll be responsible for overseeing the full financial reporting process, including the preparation of statutory accounts, financial compliance, and supporting key decision-makers with insightful financial analysis. Working closely with the finance team, you will manage the month-end close, lead on the year-end process, and ensure all reporting is delivered to tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the production of multi-entity statutory accounts
  • Manage monthly financial reporting and consolidation
  • Support the year-end audit process
  • Provide financial insights and analysis to senior stakeholders
  • Maintain strong financial controls and compliance
  • Lead on process improvements within the finance function

About You: You'll be a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or qualified by experience with a strong background in financial control, ideally within a multi-entity environment and agriculture would be an advantage. Your attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines will be essential for success in this role. Experience in statutory reporting, audit preparation, and a strong understanding of UK GAAP/IFRS is a must.
