We are seeking a driven and ambitious Company Accountant who is part-qualified or fully qualified in CIMA or ACCA. This role is perfect for someone eager to develop their skills further in accounting and contribute significantly to our finance team.

Day-to-day of the role:

Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reports.
Support budgeting and forecasting processes.
Manage credit risk and set up new customer accounts.
Perform variance analysis to understand differences between actual and budgeted figures.
Contribute to the development of internal control policies and procedures.
Work closely with the finance team to ensure accurate financial reporting.
Assist with year-end audit preparation and liaise with auditors as required.
Help in the preparation of tax returns and other statutory filings.
Engage in continuous knowledge development regarding sector’s rules, regulations, best practices, tools, techniques, and performance standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Part-qualified or qualified in CIMA or ACCA, with a commitment to complete the qualification.
Experience in a role with exposure to management accounts.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proactive and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
Driven and ambitious, with a strong desire to learn and progress within the company.
