We are seeking a talented and passionate Sous Chef to join our culinary team. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional looking to advance their career in a vibrant and dynamic environment. Day-to-day of the role:
  • Assist the Head Chef and Sous Chef in the daily operations of the kitchen.
  • Ensure the highest standards of food preparation and presentation.
  • Develop and implement new menus and recipes that meet the high standards of our establishment.
  • Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations within the kitchen area.
  • Handle any issues that arise in the kitchen and act swiftly to resolve them.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef or similar role in a reputable restaurant or hotel.
  • Strong leadership skills and experience in managing a team.
  • Excellent knowledge of cooking techniques and ingredients.
  • Proficiency in various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
  • Culinary school diploma or equivalent hands-on experience.
  • Ability to thrive in a high-pressure environment.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
