Their aim is to create a warm and supportive environment for both their residents and staff. They are currently seeking an experienced and compassionate Nurse-Qualified Deputy Manager to join their team.The Role:As the Deputy Manager, you will work closely with the Home Manager to ensure the highest standards of care are provided to all residents. You will lead a dedicated team of care staff, oversee the daily operations of the home, and support the delivery of clinical care as needed.Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Home Manager in the day-to-day running of the care home.
- Lead, manage, and mentor the care team to ensure high-quality care delivery.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and provide a safe environment for both residents and staff.
- Undertake assessments, care planning, and monitor care delivery for residents.
- Take responsibility for managing shifts and staffing levels.
- Support the recruitment, training, and development of care staff.
- Liaise with families, health professionals, and other stakeholders to provide holistic care to residents.
Essential Requirements:
- Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN/RNLD) with a valid NMC PIN.
- Experience in a leadership or managerial role within a care setting.
- Strong knowledge of CQC standards and compliance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
- Ability to work under pressure and lead a team effectively.
Desirable:
- Previous experience as a Deputy Manager or similar role in a care home setting.
- Management qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 5 in Leadership for Health and Social Care).
