Rapidly growing, successful bookkeeping business based in Woodford Green have an opening for a permanent, full-time bookkeeper. This is a hybrid role working 2 to 3 days at the office and 2 to 3 days remotely. The Opportunity: A unique role has arisen managing a portfolio of clients and their monthly/quarterly bookkeeping and VAT requirements. Reporting to and supporting the director, you will process all bookkeeping to VAT return for your clients & also oversee some outsourced bookkeeping. You will respond to your clients & team enquiries, whilst also having the opportunity to get involved in ad hoc projects such as taking on new software for improvement in workflow. About you: You are a committed individual who can hit the ground running, really grasp this role, and make it your own. You're a confident bookkeeper with strong experience & a sharp eye for detail. You're well organised and able to prioritise your own workload whilst overseeing the work of others. You're used to taking deadlines seriously as well as being flexible enough to deal with unexpected demands. You must be able to confidently prepare month end accounts and file VAT returns using Xero & Sage and be open to using other bolt on software such as Dext, Comma Payments etc. The firm: The company are a small but rapidly growing successful bookkeeping business that provides services for over 50 varying clients. With a current team of 5 they care passionately about their clients and not only endeavour to provide the highest quality service, but also to help their clients grow their business in any way they can. Clients consider them as part of the team. You will be involved in inspiring and educating their clients to know their financial affairs are in safe hands and will be handled with diplomacy and integrity. You will work a standard week of 2-3 days in the office in Highams Park, Woodford Green and 2-3 days remotely from home.
