Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the planning, monitoring, and evaluation of the nursery curriculum and activities.
- Ensure that the nursery environment is safe, clean, and welcoming for children, staff, and parents.
- Support the nursery manager in maintaining compliance with all regulatory requirements and standards.
- Lead and motivate a team of nursery practitioners, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with parents and caregivers, ensuring open and effective communication.
- Assist in the recruitment, training, and development of nursery staff.
Requirements
- Minimum Level 3 qualification in childcare.
- At least 1 year of experience in a senior nursery position.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and standards in early childhood education.
