A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR DAY

You will be joining a highly motivated team where you will be operating CNC Machines to produce various Turbine products. Following work instructions and meeting company standards.

HOW YOU'LL MAKE AN IMPACT

- You will contribute to the production team with your skill, experience, and knowledge of setting and operating CNC machines to a high standard.

- Oversees machinery setup to make sure arrangement is safe and ready to handle it's assigned load and loads material into machines.

- Understanding engineering drawings and CMM readouts to enable you to carry out various operations.

- Examines machinery production output to verify the product is acceptable to move onto the next part of the production process.

- First principal gauging and CMM Measurement of components to ensure conformity by adjusting tool offsets, speed, the path of the cut, and other factors.

- Maintains and updates records about the machine's operation.

- Regularly inspects machines for mechanical and safety issues.

- Works a flexible schedule to keep up with production demand during busy production periods.

WHAT YOU BRING

- Preferably completed a recognised full level 3 apprenticeship, Candidates will also be considered that have an NVQ level 3 or Technical certificate in a relevant engineering field.

- Must have CNC Machining experience.

- A knowledge of Fanuc, Mazatrol, Heidenhain, Okuma controls is desirable, but not essential.

- Safety attitude, detail-orientated, problem-solving skills, mechanical talent.
