UK Seed Manager / Head of Seed

*Remote Working / WFH*

Fox Morris Group are proudly supporting our client who area leading producer of quality seed potatoes in the UK, producing seed to supply tocustomers in the UK and beyond.

Objective

You will work closely with growers throughout the UK, looking after high grade seed and commercial seed crops both in Scotland and England, visiting them regularly to ensure the high quality ofseed varieties is maintained.

Predominantly a field based positionwith travel and visits planned, this is a completely standalone role. You will have full autonomy to make it your own and manage your working day effectively and productively.

Plenty of training and development opportunities will be available to keep up with the ever-changing landscape of the sector. This position reports to the Managing Director.

Requirements

We are looking for a well organised and experienced Head of Seed Production to join theexisting team they have in place.

  • Responsibility for all aspects of seed production and should be able toassist withvariety trials.
  • Be expected to help set up and attend annual industry events, representing the companyhere and in Europe.
  • Excellent communication and technologyskills
  • Well organised with aproactive approach to your work
  • Must be able to work independently and efficiently.

The ideal candidate will have worked in the UK seed potato industry, be located anywhere between East AngliaandScotlandwithBASIS/FACTS qualifications.
