You'll be collaborating with the Head of Departments to create clear visions for crop varieties, manage variety release and product life cycle as well as managing and planning new features to the agricultural portfolio.

Ideally you'll be BASIS qualified, passionate about the industry and working in a similar role within the agriculture.

You'll have the opportunity to travel across the UK and Europe as well as to multiple events throughout the year. The role will be based in Lincolnshire, but due to the hybrid nature of the role, we welcome applicants from outside of this area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Head of Agriculture and Head of Technical (Agriculture) to create a vision for a seed product including Wheat, Barley, Rye, Oilseeds, Pulses, Oats and Diverse Crops.
  • Prioritise product features and capabilities, sense checking with Sales and Technical teams.
  • Meet regularly with all stakeholders, including sales, technical, marketing and breeders to gather and evaluate ideas and opinions
  • Work with Head of Agriculture to create crop plans and timelines for developing the seed products
  • Plan new features, products and changes to the Agriculture portfolio
  • Learn about Merchant and Grower customers, and a product's market. Research competitors and similar products
  • Support marketing campaigns by writing, editing and proofreading copy for sales, technical and promotional materials
  • Ensure Technical accuracy of campaign materials and seek formal sign off if necessary
  • Participate in relevant activities including Open Days, Conferences, Briefings, internal and external meetings
  • Work to a customer-centric ethos including significant travel in the UK and Europe, which may occur outside standing working hours
  • Proactively work with other teams across the business
