Systems Developer
Lincoln, Full-Time, Permanent
Salary £35,000 per annum
Our Lincoln-based Client is looking to appoint a Systems Developer on a full-time, permanent basis.
THE ROLE
Your duties as Systems Developer will include:
- Producing in-house applications and databases to support the company needs
- De-bugging and resolving coding issues
- Identifying development works, producing project proposals to include timescales and contingencies
- Eliminating ‘down-time’ for all mission critical and back-office systems
- Implementing new solutions into existing code
- Problem solving and troubleshooting
- Providing occasional cover for the IT helpdesk support
- Ad hoc IT and maintenance related tasks
THE CANDIDATE
The successful Systems Developer will possess the following:
- Extensive experience working with PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS
- Experience using JavaScript, JQuery
- Experience with E-commerce websites and developing website solutions
- An understanding of MVC frameworks
- Experience with API’s, such as eBay, AWS and S3
- Version control, preferably GIT
- Great communication skills and a positive attitude
- The ability to prioritise workload and work to deadlines
- A flexible and adaptable approach to work
