**URGENTLY NEEDED**

A Raw Material Technologist is needed for a 9-12 month fixed-term contract. A new project requires a new Process Technologist to join the team to help scale up the new products into the factory. Job details:

  • Complete food safety risk assessments for raw materials and work with suppliers to gather all the necessary info
  • Ensure ingredients meet customer requirements and that they are approved
  • Ensure all raw materials have up-to-date and approved specs in our Insight system
  • Manage and update raw material systems and databases
  • Get involved in technical audits, including those from customers
  • Make sure supplier approval info reflects the actual factory supply base and the results of risk assessments
  • Flag any discrepancies internally or externally as needed
  • Keep communication open with procurement, technical, and operational teams when products don't meet specs and end up in the reject category

What you will need:

  • A minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role, including Quality, Technical or Process
  • Previous food manufacturing experience is required
