Technical Administrator/Material Administrator

Monday - Friday 08:00 - 16:00, flexibility on Start/Finish Times (06:00 - 14:00, 07:00 - 15:00 or 08:00 - 16:00)

Flexibility to work 1 / 2 days a week from home

17.62 PAYE

6 month rolling contract

Key Responsibilities and deliverables:

  • Be the conduit between engineering/production/materials and service delivery managers
  • Extrapolate the information needed from the COI to create a master BOM (EBOM - Engineering bill of material)
  • Create a MBOM (Manufacturing bill of material) to formulate how the overhaul kits need to be structured
  • Be the lead for any Technical Instructions changes the impact the BOM
  • Be the lead for any production requests where the material requested is outside our scope of repair
  • Re-mobilise fleets CL374, CL450 (Kitting and Bill of Materials (BOM)
  • Mobilise 2 fleets due to start in 12 months' time as Production Target - Managing kits, creating Bill of Materials (BOM), Purchasing and liaising with 3rd Parties.
  • Work closely with the Materials Planners to ensure stock is ordered in a timely manner, to support with meeting production targets.

Skills Required:

  • Rolling Stock/Engineering Background
  • Previous experience in a technician role
  • Good understanding of Materials, Bill of Materials and Production process
  • Good attention to detail
  • Some knowledge of Microsoft systems such as Excel or SAP
