Due to a drive for greater success, this advanced manufacturing business is currently searching for a Weapons Technician to add to their talented, hardworking team in RAF Coningsby, Lincoln on an initial 6 months contract. Striving for innovation and creativity you can ensure no two days will be the same. This role will be offering 29.34 UMB per hour inside IR35 22.57 per hour PAYE

The Role

Within the role of you'll be responsible for:

Undertake and complete tasked maintenance & diagnostic activities on an aircraft or weapons systems/components which may include as appropriate:

* Aircraft Ground Handling,
* Flight servicing's
* Aircraft role changes
* Embodiments
* Component removals
* Inspections
* Repairs
* Tests

You

To succeed within the role of you'll have experience in a similar position, and you'll ideally have the following skills:

Typically 3+ year's experience including type, classed as fully competent with all required 'Authorities' in place.
Demonstrating breadth of systems experience, currency & recency via a Log Book (electronic or paper) capturing skills, knowledge and authorities for working on Aircraft or in workshops.
A comprehensive knowledge of the acceptable means of compliance documentation set.
