Role: Autism supported living- Service manager

Location: Woodstock

Hours: 35- 37.5 hours per week

Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum.

Reed community care are proud to be appointed as the Service Provider for a young man in living in his own home just outside Woodstock. We are looking for a strong leader to join the team to manage the service day to day. The service supports 1 service user that has a team of 6 support workers that support the individual 2:1 7 days per week and 1 sleep in overnight in his own home built by family. They will work closely under the registered manager that supports a number of locations.

The Care Manager role:

  • Managing and supervising the support workers to work to a high standard. Inc coaching them alongside them on shift.
  • Implementing good working practices and a strong role model
  • Managing and implementing meal plans. Activity plans and healthy living choices for the client.
  • Driving and taking the client out.
  • Staff compliance.
  • Rota management
  • Client’s professional meetings.
  • Risk Assessments and support plan updates.
  • Medicines and financial checks.

Candidates will need:

  • Good organisational skills.
  • Good verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Previous management experience.
  • Experience working with young adults and autism.
  • Wanting to make a difference
  • Able to drive
