Our client is an international powerhouse in the food manufacturing industry and they are looking for a passionate and ambitious professional to join their highly skilled production team.

Primary Objective:
As a Shift Manageryour primary responsibility is to oversee the day-to-day operations of the plant, ensuring efficient and effective production in alignment with the Production plan.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Understand production processes and optimize plant machinery for maximum efficiency.
  • Diagnose and report/rectify process faults to maintain smooth operations.
  • Lead a team to meet weekly/daily production targets while ensuring safety.
  • Monitor and maintain food safety and quality standards.
  • Oversee and support subordinates in running their plants efficiently and safely.
  • Report any issues that may affect the manufacturing of safe and legal food products.
  • Notify your line manager of potential Health & Safety issues.
  • Act as a leader to drive cultural change in line with business values.
  • Promote a workplace free of discrimination and harassment.
  • Ensure your area of responsibility is audit-ready at all times.
  • Meet all legal requirements in compliance with food safety legislation, BRCGS Standard, and Customer Codes of Practice.

  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
